Appealing $-Compensation Claim Rejections, TRC-Canada Provides No Guidance To USA Placed Victims-Survivors of The Canadian Scoops

Though his status as a victim-survivor of the Canadian Scoops has been recognized by TRC-Canada (and USCIS), subsequent compensation claims filed by 1st USA Placed Victim-Survivor of The Canadian Scoops continue to be rejected by TRC-Canada (compensation review boards); appeals have not been filed.
Because the mandate of TRC-Canada has not expanded to include those victims-survivors of The Canadian Scoops who were placed in USA, (The Mandate only includes those that were kept within Canada), the appeal process – as well as the recognition process – for USA Placed Victims-Survivors of The Canadian Scoops has not been standardized.
In addition to the thousands of the victims-survivors of Canadian Scoops who were placed in the USA, our research shows that others were also placed in western Europe. The Mandate of TRC-Canada also does not recognize those victims-survivors of the Canadian Scoops who were placed in western Europe.
