USA Placed Victims-Survivors of The Canadian Scoops is a burgeoning grass roots effort the ambition of which is to encourage The Truth & Reconciliation Commission of Canada (TRC-Canada) to expand it’s mandate to include those victims-survivors of The Canadian Scoops who were placed in the USA; currently, The Mandate of the TRC-Canada only includes those victims-survivors of The Canadian Scoops who were kept within Canada.

To date only 1 USA Placed Victim-Survivor of the Canadian Scoops has been recognized by TRC-Canada. Our research indicates the possibility that there are thousands more in USA (& Europe).

This blog highlights processes by which other USA Placed Victims-Survivors of The Canadian Scoops can determine & qualify their own North American Indian Status, Blood Quantum, and/or USA Citizenship as well as attempt to gain recognition by TRC-Canada.

Until TRC-Canada acknowledges all USA Placed Victims-Survivors of The Canadian Scoops, the processes listed above are not obvious and not without risk of deportation.
