Agenda of Today’s Native American Indian Activists: NFL-Redskins & ‘Baby Veronica’
October 6, 2013 § Leave a comment
October 6, 2013, Native American Indian Activists have expressed their agenda going forward and that agenda does not in any effective way include USA Placed Victims-Survivors of Canadian Scoops. While activists fight over the name of an NFL football team (link below) and for a toddler, the ‘Native American Indian’ father of which is less than 1% blood quantum (an amount of blood quantum that for all other purposes Native American Indian tribes do not allow a person to claim Native American Indian heritage), USA Placed Victims-Survivors of Canadian Scoops must rely on civil courts to achieve a fair outcome.
Discussions focused on this reluctance of USA Native American Indian Advocates to include USA Placed Victims-Survivors of Canadian Scoops within their agendas, reveal their reluctance is based on the following:
* USA Placed Victims-Survivors of Canadian Scoops are victims of the Canadian Federal Government AND, within the same actions for which the Canadian Government is said to be culpable so too are, the elites within the Indian bands/tribes that these victims were borne into, i.e., only because of the complicity of the elites of the Indian bands were the abductions and, if not illegal by the laws at the time of the abductions, the unethical trafficking of these children into USA (and west Europe).
* To date, ALL legal recognition, privileges and ‘corrections’ for USA Placed Victims-Survivors of Canadian Scoops have been achieved for North American Indians by non-North American Indians and ‘this is not acceptable’, i.e., ‘we feel they (USA Placed Victims-Survivors of Canadian Scoops) are our people and this is our problem to be corrected when and as we determine…white people should not be involved.’
USA Placed Victims-Survivors of Canadian Scoops will reach the fair outcome they are entitled to and deserve by coordinating with their peers in Canada who have rejected the compensation offers from TRC-Canada; their civil class action suits have been formed and are progressing.
