October 29, 2013, The 1st USA Placed Victim-Survivor of Canadian Scoops (who resides in USA since being scooped, 1974), and his biological family (all have remained in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada area throughout their lives) have been offered opportunity to present their victim-survivor statements at TRC-Canada National Event in Edmonton, Canada, March 27-31, 2014.
TRC-Canada National Events during which victims make their statements direct to TRC (and attending media and politicians, legal experts, etc.) takes places throughout Canada on different dates. March 27-31, 2014 are the only dates it is scheduled to take place in Edmonton which is the territory that had jurisdiction over 1st USA Placed Victim-Survivor of Canadian Scoops because it is where he was born, abducted from, etc. No TRC-Canada National Events are scheduled to take place in USA.
If he and his biological family do attend, it will be their 1st reunion since he was scooped, a.k.a. abducted.
Via recognition of his status as a victim of Canada Scoops by TRC-Canada, this individual received his USA Citizenship expedited (and without penalization for federal crimes committed as a result of his Canada Scoops status, including, registering to vote, describing himself as a USA Citizen on local, state and federal applications, and legal filings, etc.).
Our very limited research efforts indicate that there are at least a couple of thousand more USA Placed Victims-Survivors of Canadian Scoops in USA (and west Europe).
