Going Forward

March 29, 2014 § Leave a comment

Going forward, this blog will continue to provide updates on progress made towards developing class action and individual civil suits filed on behalf of USA Placed Victims-Survivors of Canadian Scoops.

According to our research there are a minimum of a couple of thousand USA Placed Victims-Survivors of Canadian Scoops. Only 1 has been recognized by TRC-Canada; after he received TRC-Canada recognition which was then used to achieve his USA Citizenship, TRC-Canada mandate was edited and no victims who were placed outside of Canada via Canada Scoops have been recognized.

If you or someone you know believes that they are a USA Placed Victim-Survivor of Canadian Scoops, please use contact form provided below to contact us. You can do so anonymously and we will post reply to the blog itself, or you can provide us with your contact information so that we can reply to you privately, directly.

Travel Funding Subsidies – NOT Available for Travel From USA to Edmonton

March 24, 2014 § Leave a comment

March 24, 2014,  Because I posted information in regard to funds for travel within Canada to TRC-Canada National Event in Edmonton, March 27 – 31, 2014, I have been asked to post information on funds being provided to those that want to travel from USA to Canada. Unfortunately, I have not received any information regarding funds that would subsidize the cost of travel between USA and Canada.

With the exception of 1st and only USA Placed Victim-Survivor of Canadian Scoops to be recognized by TRC-Canada (and, as a result USCIS), NO victims of Canada Scoops who were placed in USA or west Europe have been recognized by TRC-Canada. The mandate of TRC-Canada, after permitting recognition of the 1st, was edited so as to exclude victims of Canada Scoops who were placed in USA and west Europe, i.e., mandate of TRC-Canada only recognizes those victims who were kept in Canada. That recognition then extends to travel subsidies to TRC-Canada events.

With the formation of class action and individual civil suits in USA, it’s expected that parallel events that coordinate interests of Canada Scoop victims in USA will take place and provide forum within which statement sharing can take place.

Accessing Travel Funds Subsidies, Traveling To TRC-Canada National Event Edmonton

March 21, 2014 § Leave a comment

March 21, 2014, It’s just been brought to my attention that, unfortunately, those that are most in need and therefore qualify for the travel funds available to those traveling within Canada to TRC-Canada National Event in Edmonton are also those that are least likely to have access to internet and phone, i.e., someone, hopefully the TRC-Canada regional coordinator who reviewed their files will be provided with the ability to reach out to them and provide them with the information about how to access travel fund subsidies because otherwise those victims of Canada Scoops won’t have access to the funds.

Where Am I?
