April 2, 2015, This article (see link below), finally, albeit it’s still too limited, publicly and overtly acknowledges that authorities acknowledge that some portion of Canada Scoops Victims, a.k.a., Sixties Scoops Victims were not kept within but were instead placed outside of Canada, i.e., ‘throughout North America‘.
Such acknowledgement has often been made in one on one, personal conversations with authorities of TRC-Canada, Government of Canada, and INAC but the same individuals have not been able to make that same statement overtly and publicly, within a professional context; they couldn’t state it in any way that would invoke TRC-Canada and/or Government of Canada accountability. Only during the 1st few years of the Truth & Reconciliation Commission – Canada did the language of the TRC-Canada Mandate allow Canada Scoops/Sixties Scoops Victims who were not kept within Canada but who were instead placed in USA and west Europe room by which to achieve TRC-Canada recognition; once that opening was used by 1st USA Placed Victim-Survivor of Canada Scoops to achieve TRC-Canada recognition and with that, his USA Citizenship, the Original TRC-Canada Mandate was edited to expressly preclude other Canada Scoops/Sixties Scoops Victims who were not kept within Canada but who were instead placed in USA from achieving recognition of their status as victims of this particular genocide via this TRC.
