June 26, 2015, The First Lady Michelle Obama says it well, “given this history, we shouldn’t be surprised at the challenges that kids in (North American) Indian Country are facing today.  And we should never forget that we played a role in this.  Make no mistake about it – we own this.” See full article (link below), “For more than a century, the governments of Canada and the United States pursued a policy of forcible removal of indigenous children from their homes and communities.  The Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada recently released a report on these removal practices, recognizing them to be part of a policy of “cultural genocide.”

It could not have happened without the complicity of the elites of the Canadian Indian Bands themselves.

This article (see link below), however, does fail to mention that at least as far as the removals that took place in Canada, a.k.a., the scoopings, could not have happened without the complicity of the elites of the Canadian indian bands themselves; None of those elites who participated in the scoopings,  several of which according to thier own facebook pages were, if not willing, available for the recently concluded TRC-Canada – provided statements to the recently concluded Truth & Reconciliation Commission – Canada. They are however referred to – and often by name –  in victim statements.

At Least (2) Offices of United States Citizenship and Immigration Services Have Recognized Canada Scoops To Be A Genocide.

Subsequent to his use of TRC – Canada recognition to achieve his USA Citizenship as a victim of genocide and all of the prerogatives receipt of USA Citizenship on that basis conveys Mandate of the TRC-Canada was edited to preclude Canada Scoops/60’s Scoops Victims who were not kept within Canada but who were instead placed in USA from receiving victim status from this particular TRC-Canada.

Another victim of Canada Scoops placed in western USA also used description of his ‘scooping’ to gain USA Citizenship, although he was not recognized by TRC-Canada.
